Pomegranate mojito: the perfect cocktail for your spring
I have already told you about the multiple properties of pomegranate juice. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, it is a special ally of the health of our body and the beauty of the skin, especially of us women: the antioxidant action counteracts cellular aging and therefore the formation of those annoying wrinkles that remind us of the passing years .
So why not take advantage of every opportunity to drink this precious juice. Today I want to offer you a recipe to amaze your friends during an aperitif at home, the mojito cocktail with pomegranate. A variation of the famous Cuban cocktail, more refreshing and colorful, suitable to make a toast during an evening with friends.
The recipe for the pomegranate mojito is very simple, you need just to get these ingredients:
Dose for a pomegranate mojito
50 ml of pomegranate juice
30 ml of white rum
6 mint leaves
2 tablespoons of lime juice
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
150 ml of sparkling water or alternatively of tonic water
ice
1 tablespoon of pomegranate grains, mint leaves and lime for garnish.
Now prepare your pomegranate mojito by pounding the mint leaves with the brown sugar and lime juice well in a low wide glass in order to mix everything together. Fill the glass with ice (half chopped and half cubed) and add rum, sparkling water and pomegranate juice to fill the glass.
If you can't find the pomegranate I recommend using our pure juice Amigra 100% organic cold pressed pomegranate.
Finally mix with a long teaspoon and serve garnished with mint leaves, slices of lime and pomegranate grains.
This alcoholic recipe can also be adapted to make a mojito cocktail with non-alcoholic pomegranate, replacing the rum with the same amount of sparkling water or tonic water or lemon soda.
All you have to do is enjoy the evening and also toast ourselves!
