Salad with pomegranate: a simple and healthy recipe
Finally the summer season is going to arrive and with the first warm days we prefer to to eat fresh and light dishes. Today we want to offer you a quick and easy salad to prepare, excellent as a side dish or appetizer but also as a quick lunch to take to work instead of the classic sandwiches, sometimes heavy and difficult to digest. This is the salad with pomegranate, a variation of the classic salad that will guarantee all the benefits of this ancient fruit, rich in natural antioxidants that counteract the cellular aging of our body.
To prepare the salad with pomegranate you’d need to get these ingredients:
- Lettuce or mixed salad
- Rocket salad
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
Wash all the vegetables well and extract the pomegranate arils, being careful not to damage them. Cut the lettuce and mix it with the rocket salad, add the fennel and carrot cut into fine strips and finally the pomegranate grains in the quantity that suits you best.
